#week 39 of 2020: The night is made to live it at fullest

If you didn’t know, now you do. I am a skater who loves skating on speed.

After working nightshift, I had five days free. Disadvantage of working shifts? Immediately resume the “normal” rhythm of life. That’s why, around midnight, I came out with the craziest idea of the “day”: going out roller skating.

When you got the right friend and timing , perfect matching, for doing a craziness? Well, that what happened. Here I was, twenty minutes later, waiting for a friend of mine at the gas station.

Once he arrived there, we started our skating journey. Roller-skating in the middle of the night while everybody else is already in the dream’s world. You are out there, enjoying the silence as if for a moment the world stopped!

At some point, we stopped having a break and the craziest idea came out: we decided to do a downhill on speed!! Once we reached the highest point of the street, we ensured ourselves of not having any car around. If I have to be 100% honest, I was excited and nervous at the same time. But I stood my ground, whenever the traffic light turned green we started our descent without having a second thought.

It was even a better feeling being on full speed down that hill! Feeling the freedom inside my veins.

The funniest part of the whole night? I usually track my activities by Adidas Run’s app. Once back home, I stopped it. Surprisingly we reached a max Speed of 75km/h?! I am not sure what my phone drank that night tho!! But I am pretty sure of not reaching that speed!!
